Notch Cleaner (bundle ID dev.alma.cleaner) is a local-first macOS utility for process inspection, disk cleanup, and optional menu bar metrics.

Summary

• No user accounts or sign-in
• No analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking
• Process, disk, and network data stays on your Mac — not uploaded to ALMA

Permissions

macOS may prompt for optional permissions explained in-app: Administrator access (time-limited privileged cleanup), Full Disk Access (optional scans), local network/process APIs, and optional packet capture.

Network use

Direct-download builds may perform optional HTTPS update checks. Mac App Store builds do not include an in-app updater.

Mac App Store vs direct download

Store builds run in App Sandbox; some features may differ from the direct-download build. Neither build uploads your local data to ALMA.
